The UAE has welcomed the UK's decision to recognise UAE vaccine certificates for travel purposes.
Mansoor Abulhoul, the UAE's Ambassador to the UK, said the latest move will make it easier for Emiratis and the UAE's large British expat community to travel to the UK.
From October 4, those who have taken a UK-approved vaccine can travel from the UAE to the UK without the need to quarantine on arrival.
Approved vaccines are Oxford/AstraZeneca, Pfizer BioNTech, Moderna or Janssen (Johnson) vaccines.
Visitors must have had a complete course of an approved vaccine at least 14 days before arrival.
In addition to proof of vaccination, arrivals must take a COVID-19 test on day 2 and complete a passenger locator form.
