UAE President arrives in Kazan for historic BRICS summit

UAE's President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has arrived in Kazan to participate in the BRICS Leaders’ Summit, taking place from October 22 to 24.

This marks the UAE’s inaugural participation in the summit as a full member of the BRICS group.

The summit is themed "Strengthening Multilateralism for Equitable Global Development and Security," and will convene leaders and heads of government from BRICS nations, alongside representatives from invited countries.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed is accompanied by a high-level delegation that includes H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs; H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; and Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor for Special Affairs at the Presidential Court, along with several ministers and senior officials.

The summit presents an important opportunity for the UAE to engage in discussions aimed at enhancing global cooperation and addressing pressing international issues, reinforcing its role in multilateral economic frameworks.
