Noura Al Kaabi, UAE Minister of State, has been honoured with the highest civilian award of France.
French President Emmanuel Macron conferred Al Kaabi with the Knight of the National Order of the Legion of Honour (Légion d'Honneur), in recognition of her efforts to enhance cooperation between the UAE and France across various fields.
Al Kaabi received the award from Nicolas Niemtchinow, French Ambassador to the UAE, at the Embassy in Abu Dhabi.
The minister expressed her appreciation to Macron and the French Republic, highlighting the strategic, distinguished and deep-rooted ties between the UAE and France.
She attributed the honour to the efforts of UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in strengthening UAE-France relations.
