UAE calls for protection of civilians in Lebanon

The UAE expressed deep concern over the attacks launched by Israel in Lebanon, the continued escalation in the region, and its repercussions on security and stability.

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a statement calling for international efforts to stop the fighting and the full protection of civilians in Lebanon.

The Ministry also stressed the UAE's firm position in rejecting violence, escalation, and reckless actions and reactions, without the slightest regard for the laws governing relations and sovereignty of states, which complicate the situation and increase the risks of instability, stressing the need to resolve disputes through diplomatic means, away from the language of confrontation and escalation.
