Authorities in Dubai have ordered the closure of two businesses for not complying with the COVID-19 safety protocols.

Nine outlets were handed out fines, while three more issued warnings during the latest round of inspections by the Dubai Economy.

The authority reminded businesses about the importance of following the safety guidelines and urged the public to report violations via the Dubai Consumer app.
