Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed meets Indian Prime Minister

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Thursday.

The UAE diplomat is in the Indian capital to participate in the India-UAE Joint Commission Meeting and the Fourth UAE-India Strategic Dialogue.

Sheikh Abdullah expressed pride in the strong, growing ties between the UAE and India, noting that over the past 50 years, the two nations have built a unique and privileged relationship based on trust, mutual respect and shared interests.

He emphasised that this partnership has become a comprehensive collaboration, contributing to sustainable development and prosperity for both countries.

Highlighting the significance of the Joint Commission Meeting and Strategic Dialogue, Sheikh Abdullah reaffirmed the commitment to further strengthen the strategic partnership and support mutual development priorities.

During the meeting, Sheikh Abdullah expressed his pleasure at visiting India and extended his best wishes for the continued progress and prosperity of the Indian people.
