Restaurants in Dubai have been issued new COVID-19 safety guidelines to allow more people to dine at a table.
Taking to Twitter, the Dubai Municipality said a maximum of eight people will be allowed to sit at a table in restaurants, while the number will be restricted to five at shisha cafes.
That's not all. Diners need not be part of a family, but must wear their masks at all times, except while eating.
The outlets must also adhere to the 2-metre physical distancing guidelines between tables, or use temporary isolators if the space isn't adequate.
The authority added that the latest amendments to the safety guidelines are set to ensure public health amid the pandemic.
