Dubai Police have intensified their efforts to crack down on illegal massage centres in the emirate.

The authority has sealed a total of 91 apartments this year for offering unlicensed massage services.

The continuing campaign has targeted the establishments that usually attract customers through business cards placed on cars.

Major General Jamal Salem Al Jallaf, Director of the General Department of Criminal Investigation reaffirmed that ensuring public safety is a shared responsibility between the Police and community members.

He urged the public to dial 901 or use the 'Police Eye' service via the Dubai Police smart App to report any suspicious or illegal activities, including unlicensed massage centres and their promotors.

"Licensed massage centres are registered with Dubai's Department of Economy & Tourism, and whoever wishes to seek their services can verify that by simply contacting the concerned entities," Al Jallaf added.
