The final of the UAE President's Cup football will welcome fully vaccinated fans and those who have participated in the vaccine's clinical trials.
The match will be held on May 16 at a capacity of 30 per cent but the spectators must be inoculated or have taken part in the clinical trials.
They must also present a negative COVID-19 test result taken no more than 48 hours before the match, and the letter E must be visible on Al Hosn app.
It's the first official event that only vaccine recipients and its clinical trials participants are allowed to attend, according to the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA).
Based on the experience at the President's Cup, the return of fans to the stands will be considered during the next phase of the World Cup and AFC Asian Cup qualifiers.
