New coach named for USA women's football team

Vlatko Andonovski is the new head coach of the American women's football team.

He replaces Jill Ellis, who led the side to two World Cup triumphs.

Andonovski has been at the helm of Seattle's Reign FC in the National Women's Soccer League for the past two seasons.

The 43-year-old's first assignment with the national side will be on November 7 when the USA takes on Sweden.
