Premier League champions Chelsea have parted ways with manager Jose Mourinho after a run of poor results leaves them just a point off the relegation zone. A club statement said the 52-year-old Portuguese left by "mutual consent", seven months after he led them to the title. Chelsea have won just 4 top flight games so far this season. Mourinho was previously sacked by Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich in 2007, after a successful three-year spell in which he won two Premier League titles, two League Cups and the FA Cup. Guus Hiddink is the favourite to take over as interim manager. If he comes in, it would be the Dutchman's second spell at Stamford Bridge, after leading them to the FA Cup in 2009.
