Krepin Diatta and Keita Balde's scored for the Teranga Lions in the 2-0 victory.

Elsewhere, an own-goal from Iitamunua Keimuine gave Morocco a narrow 1-0 victory in their opening match against Namibia.

Manchester City's Riyad Mahrez scored for Algeria to help his side beat Kenya 2-0.
