Singapore delays Turkish Airlines flight after coronavirus case found

A Turkish Airlines aircraft was grounded overnight at Singapore's Changi airport after a passenger tested positive for COVID-19.

According to the authorities, a passenger who arrived in Singapore from Turkey on the same aircraft tested positive for Covid-19.

All 220 passengers were tested and provided with hotel rooms, local reports added.

The aircraft was later allowed to depart with no passengers early Thursday, with officials adding that the crew will be quarantined upon touchdown in Istanbul.

So far, Singapore has 112 confirmed cases of coronavirus, with a large majority of the patients having recovered completely.
