'It Ends With Us' co-stars Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni will be heading to court on March 9, 2026, over competing claims that they each created a hostile work environment on the set of the book-turned movie’s production.

In late December, Blake Lively initially filed an extensive lawsuit accusing Baldoni, the director and co-star of the film, along with his production company, Wayfarer Studios, of sexual misconduct.

The lawsuit also indicated that Baldoni’s PR team had strategized a campaign to ruin her reputation following the film’s release. Details of the lawsuit was initially released by The New York Times.

In response, Baldoni filed a $400 million lawsuit alleging that Lively had been the perpetrator behind a smear campaign against him, after her initial complaint had led to Baldoni’s agency dropping him.

Baldoni also charged the New York Times with libel, and targeted Lively’s husband, 'Deadpool' star Ryan Reynolds, accusing both of taking over the production set through both his directorial role, along with changes in specific scenes and script.

Evidences of text, raw cuts, and voice notes were released to defend his claim.

Judge, Lewis J. Liman has announced an initial pre-trial hearing of February 3.
