Kesha has cancelled an upcoming concert amid her legal battle with Dr. Luke. The 'Tik Tok' hitmaker is "disappointed" to have pulled out of the show, which was due to take place on Friday (26.02.16) at Loyola University in Chicago, Illinois, and it comes just days after a court declined her the opportunity to leave her record label over allegations of sexual abuse. A statement said: "Kesha has expressed her disappointment in having to cancel, but she feels that this is the best decision for her at this time. We respect her decision and wish her well." Meanwhile, Kesha recently thanked her fans and friends for their support and spoke of her need to be "free from [her] abuser". She wrote: "I'm so, so beyond humbled and thankful for all of the support I've received from everyone. All I ever wanted was to be able to make music without being afraid, scared, or abused. "This case has never been about a renegotiation of my record contract - it was never about getting a bigger, or a better deal. This is about being free from my abuser. I would be willing to work with Sony if they do the right thing and break all ties that bind me to my abuser."
