Ed Sheeran will officiate Courteney Cox's wedding. The 'Thinking Out Loud' hitmaker - who played matchmaker for the 'Friends' star and Snow Patrol rocker Johnny McDaid - is expected to perform the service when the pair tie the knot. A source said: "They both agree it would be tons of fun as well as extremely fitting if Ed's the one to join them in holy matrimony. "He had already agreed to perform a couple of ballads after they exchange vows, so it seemed logical to him that he should get them hitched too." And despite thinking of it as a "hoot", the 23-year-old singer is taking things seriously and "bursting with pride" at the offer. A close pal added to the Daily Star on Sunday newspaper: "He's bursting with pride to have played matchmaker to Johnny and Court and he's told them he's up for anything that will help make their special day truly memorable." Meanwhile, Courteney recently confirmed Ed's musical role in their big day but admitted the loved up pair were leaving the rest of the planning up to the 'Cougar Town' star's 11-year-old daughter Coco. She said: "We are certainly grateful to Ed for introducing us. I can't imagine him not playing something at the wedding. It'll be a musical night. "Johnny and I are still in the planning stage, although Coco wants to be a wedding planner and has taken over! We're in no rush but we'd like to do it sometime soon. Coco can't wait to be a bridesmaid."
