That's according to the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development’s 'World Investment Report'.

The UAE's FDI flows increased from AED 72.7 billion (US$19.88 billion) in 2020 to over AED 76 billion (US$20.7 billion) in 2021.

The report also showed that global flows of FDI recovered to pre-pandemic levels last year (US$1.58 trillion), recording an increase of 64 per cent compared to 2020.
