The UAE-Kuwait Week has kicked off in Dubai, aiming to strengthen economic and cultural ties between the two nations.
Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), attended the opening ceremony at Emirates Towers on Monday.
The event, running from February 3-4, has brought together ministers, officials, and business leaders from both countries to explore new opportunities for cooperation.
Key highlights include a focus on boosting trade, which reached AED 50 billion in 2024, and fostering investments in sectors like real estate, tourism and transport.
Over 25 entities are showcasing their work, and a conference will cover key topics such as renewable energy, financial services and sustainable development.
The event also features cultural exhibitions and opportunities for SMEs to share success stories, reinforcing the long-standing partnership between the UAE and Kuwait.
It is organised by the UAE Ministry of Economy in collaboration with Dubai Culture and Dubai Chambers, in partnership with the Consulate General of Kuwait.
