Emirates extends Dubai-Beirut flight cancellations

Emirates has extended their flight cancellations to and from Beirut as the airlines continue to monitor the situation in Lebanon.

Emirates says it is cancelling flights between Dubai and Beirut until Tuesday, October 8 and customers transiting through Dubai with Beirut as their final destination will not be accepted for travel at their point of origin.

Emirates says it continues to, "closely monitor the situation in Lebanon and are in contact with the relevant authorities regarding developments."

Due to the ongoing developments, flydubai flights between Dubai International (DXB) and Beirut International Airport (BEY) have been cancelled until October 07. They have stated they'll continue to monitor the situation closely and amend their flight schedule accordingly.

Passengers with existing bookings will be contacted regarding their rebooking or refund options.

Etihad Airways has cancelled its services to and from Beirut until October 3 in response to ongoing regional developments.  

The ARN News Centre has contacted other UAE carriers for the latest developments. As the situation unfolds, passengers are advised to check directly with their airlines for the latest information.
