H.H. Sheikh Mohammed praises Yalla Group for NYSE listing

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has praised the first unicorn UAE-based technology company to be listed on the New York Stock Exchange.

Sheikh Mohammed highlighted the significance of the move in a social media post.

His Highness said, "Our digital economy is growing and will remain an integral part of our exports globally."

The Dubai Internet City-based Yalla Group is a voice-centric social networking and entertainment platform.

It's the largest company of its kind in the MENA region based on 2019 revenue.
