Chinese FM lauds ties with UAE

The UAE will become a shining pearl along the Belt and Road.

That's according to China's Foreign Minister, who has praised the progress that the two countries have made together.

Wang Yi also said participation in China’s ambitious Belt and Road Initiative has further deepened their bilateral partnership.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, arrived in Beijing on Sunday evening on a three-state visit that ends on Tuesday.

Developments in artificial intelligence, 5G, aerospace and high-speed railway were also discussed.
