China is considering either delaying or cancelling Vice Premier Liu He's planned trip to Washington this week after President Donald Trump threatened to hike tariffs on the country.
It comes just days after Trump said the countries were closing to signing a historic deal to end the trade war.

DFM reports 212% increase in net profit before tax to AED930.8 million
The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) has announced its consolidated financial results for the nine months ending September 30, reporting a net profit before tax of AED 930.8 million, an increase of 212 per cent compared to the same period in 2024.

UAE cuts key interest rate by 25 basis points
The Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE) has decided to cut the Base Rate applicable to the Overnight Deposit Facility (ODF) by 25 basis points, from 4.15 per cent to 3.90 per cent, effective from Thursday, October 30.
