WATCH: Record Breaking Skydiving Dog!
A clever pooch who has been expertly trained to fight Africa’s poaching crisis has become the first dog in the world to go skydiving as well.
German Shepherd pup Arrow has been recognised by the Guinness World Records team this week after undertaking his first skydive while taking part in anti-poaching activity at a defence base in Rustenburg, on the outskirts of the capital city of Pretoria in northern South Africa
The two-year-old pooch was specially selected because he displayed such a good temperament and over the years has trained to descend from a helicopter by rope alongside his trainer.
Arrow is one of 200 specially bred pooches trained by the defence and aerospace company who manufacture aircraft, armoured vehicles, naval vessels and UAVs for governments around the world.
