The Dirt – July 13, 2017

Shia LaBeouf is apologizing after going on a racist tirade at a police station when he was arrested last weekend. The video from the police station just came out and now Shia is apologizing. Shia says “I am deeply ashamed of my behavior and make no excuses for it. My outright disrespect for authority is problematic to say the least, and completely destructive to say the worst. It’s a new low. A new low I hope is a bottom.” He says he has been struggling with addiction for too long and he’s actively taking steps towards fixing it. He also asked to be forgiven for his mistakes.

Demi Lovato is partying across the United States right now, promoting her new single Sorry Not Sorry. So it’s easy to tell where she is, and that was the problem as a burglar attempted to break in to her Hollywood Hills home the other night. A man dressed in dark clothing with a ladder scaled up to her balcony. Fortunately Demi has a live-in caretaker who called the police. By the time the cops got there the guy was gone.

The voice of Kermit the Frog is changing after 27 years. Steve Whitmire has done the voice since 1990. The producers of The Muppets aren’t saying why they’re making the change, but Kermit will now be voiced by another long time voice actor in the company. Whitmire also voiced Bert’s BFF Ernie, Beaker, and others.

If Twitter measures your popularity then Harry Styles is no longer the most popular member of One Direction. Niall Horan now carries the title of the most followed. He’s just inched in front of Harry with 30.9 million followers. It could be because he writes such sweet handwritten letters.

And we have a release date for Stranger Things season two. It’s October 27, and we have a new teaser trailer.
