16 people have been arrested in France in connection with the armed robbery and assault of Kim Kardashian. The arrests occurred in Paris, Normandy, and the French Riviera. Kim was robbed of more than $12 million in jewelry and tied up in a Paris hotel back in October. Police reportedly found fingerprints from two of the suspects at the scene, and monitored their actions. The suspects can be held without charges for 4 days. The oldest is in his 60s.
The Golden Globes were held in LA this morning. The musical La La Land won all seven awards it was nominated for, including Best Motion Picture (musical or comedy), Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Score, and acting awards for both its leads Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone. That’s a new Globes record for wins.

It was a little bit of a rocky start to the show as host Jimmy Fallon was at a loss for words, thanks to a broken teleprompter.
Brad Pitt, who had a rough 2016 (divorce, custody drama, the FBI investigation), came out to a thunderous applause while introducing the film Moonlight, which he produced. It would win Best Motion Picture Drama, so it was a good start to 2017 for Brad.
And Mariah Carey wants to clear the air about what happened on New Year’s Eve when she had a super-awkward failed performance live on television. Mariah posted this audio clip and sets the record straight – she was foiled!
