Getting their name from a certain beverage that you can take in the absence of the real thing, Moonshine started out as a cover band but have since evolved to performing sets filled with mostly original songs. Listen to them talk about jumping past the little obstacles of starting a band in the UAE and the song that usually kicks off their night.

Other than music, there’s something else that Fabian, Derek, Ferdie, Cornell, and Richard have in common- despite coming from different parts of Asia, they all call Dubai home. And thats why they’ve named themselves Behold The Locus. Okay, so a bit more explanation is needed for the bands name, and you’ll find that in the interview below. You’ll also hear the song that they’ve used to successfully woo the girls in the clubs and the one about love at first sight (sort of).

Mary I has been singing since she was 4-years-old. But since then shes found herself modeling for big named international brands, getting into media sales&marketing, and even equestrian show jumping. So what happened to all the singing for this Lebanese-Canadian?? Well despite getting a bit sidetracked, shes now back to doing what she loves the most, thanks to the Kris Fade show with Chad. Rapper/ actor Deen was born and raised in California to Pakistani parents with Afghani roots. Currently based in Dubai, he hopes to use his music to shine a “positive light on an often misinterpreted people.” But not to be labeled as deep&serious, Deen shares some laughs with Louie in the interview and gets all radio friendly with his new songs Fast Lane and Dippin In My Lexo

Born right here in the UAE, Clarita de Quiroz admits she’s a “cocktail” of races but is basically Filipino-British. After growing up in the UK and traveling the globe as an international commercial model, she’s now back in Dubai setting her sights on a career in music. Try to count how many instruments this gorgeous lady can play as she enumerates them in the interview and check out her new song Late Night Rendezvous.

Swerte is an Indonesian-Swiss rapper based right here in Dubai. His love of the craft is shared not just through his music but through Hiphop Summer Programs that he does with the rest of his group, The Recipe.
