dXb MUSIC FESTIVAL 2012

OCTOBER 5TH AT FESTIVAL PARK, AL BADIA FESTIVAL CITY

The 2nd annual dXb Music Festival will be returning to Dubai on October 5th at Festival Park, Al Badia Festival City. The festival, which launched in 2011, was a world class production and the first ever multi stage electronic festival in Dubai, headlined by LMFAO. It was nominated for Best Festival for the 2011 Time Out Nightlife Awards.

Grammy Winning DJ and Producer Afrojack wil headline at the multi stage electronic music festival, with platinum-selling group Far East Movement and Billboard chart topper Kaskade to both make their Middle Eastern debut.

Joining this year’s lineup is Dev, Shermanology, Rebecca & Fiona, Mistajam, The Zombie Kids, Phil K, Mister Outlaw and Virgin’s B.I.G Rossi; and returning to the stages following last year’s success, Tommie Sunshine, Kevin Shiu, Simon Reid, Charl Chaka, Jared McCulloch, with Live Visual Mix by Tony Pantages and Vello Virkhaus.
 
Dancing in the Dark singer Dev, who, collaborated with Far East Movement on the Chart Topping Hit Like A G6, described by MTV this year as “Artist To Watch” said; "I can't wait to celebrate and hang out with everyone at the dXb Music Festival! This will be my first time in Dubai so I'm really looking forward to having the best time ever! See you all soon :)"
 
Returning to this year’s stage, Tommie Sunshine, who is regarded as one of today’s most prolific remixers, said; "one of the best places in the world to play is Dubai. I was excited to come last year to the dXb Music Festival but am even more excited to return again this year. I have many musical treats in store for those who attend."
