Zac Efron styles it different

The star of High School Musical Zac Efron is supporting a new do. Debuting his new style at the red-carpet premier for his latest film Charlie St. Cloud in LA, the messy fauxhawk had more people talking about it than Efron’s acting in the movie.

The haircut is creating a bit of confusion amongst serious movie watchers. With Efron trying to break from his High School pretty-boy image the look is at odds with the meatier roles the actor is recently trying to pick.

Rumour has it the La Peer Salon in Beverly Hills is responsible for giving the trendsetter star his new lock… sorry, look.

But the real question, we think, is… does the look make you growl or howl?
